It took me all day to do this pocket.... well, that and it's calico forerunner, all the pattern drafting and tweakings, note-takings and step-by-step photos (lots of these!).
And it STILL needs refining... more tweakings, more notes and probably another sample.
I'm beginning to wonder if it was such a good idea to introduce a new feature to the Laptop Bag pattern so close to the launch date...?
I'm determined to have this pattern finished by the Stitches and Craft Show... so things might be a bit quieter on the blog front for a while while I burn midnight oil.

You are so inspiring, I so love the science experiment side of craft. Looking forward to catching up with you at the Show.
Nah, I know you Nikki - you won't be able to stay away from blogging! All in the name of "work", of course. The pocket looks great - I reckon that I might be using that one on LOTS of bags! And the fabrics you've used are super nice.
Keep going! You are so close and the pocket looks beautiful!

Gorgeous fabrics. You always seem to be working right up to those deadlines! You are an inspiration.
Ooh! Such a cool pocket!!! You can do it!!!!!
Lovely fabrics. You'll get there.
Love the fabric you have used on the pocket!
the pocket that I really want to figure out is the napoleon, it's the only thing stopping me from making myself a tote/messenger/laptop bag myself.
But it's sort of like a buttonhole with a pocket attached and it hurts my brain to think about it!
i think i'd make a whole bag just out of napoleon pockets if I could!
