Recovery

No - unfortunately, the stolen bag hasn't been recovered.... but I'm working on recovering body, mind and family relationships.

I'm always wiped out for a week or so after a show, and this time, I'm not fighting it.It's school holidays, and the wee girl and I are hanging out, making lavender bags and going out for sushi lunches. Having lots of snuggles.

Her drawings continue to charm me.
I want to thank every person who has left a message, written an email or posted the button to "find the bag" on their blog or Facebook page.... but I'm afraid I'd be stuck at the computer for a looooong time if I were to attempt it (and right now, I need a break from the computer for a while).

It'll be a triumph for the people if we recover it. If we don't, I think that team spirit and human kindness are still to be celebrated. Personally, my faith in the kindness of most people has truly been recovered. I'm truly, deeply, touched. Thank you.

Reasons to be Cheerful

Kirrily is pretty happy. Her ADORN purse (made using my pattern) has been getting a bit of attention on Etsy lately. (BTW - She also makes fab nappy bags and other goodies).

Katy is happy with the new Tote bag that she made . Sophie is happy because her handmade bags were well-received at Christmas.

And I'm VERY HAPPY that my little patterns can make someone's day! I receive lovely emails from wonderful people each day and appreciate every one of them - they are rich rewards, indeed. You really have no idea how much it means to me to hear that my work is worthwhile.

Now it's my turn to thank YOU! I love hearing your feedback, I love your emailed photos and I love seeing your photos shared on my Flickr group. It warms my heart and keeps me going. I really can't thank you enough.

Well.. I've drunk wine, eaten chocolate, ranted and raved. I think all that computer-angst is out of my system now. The troublesome computer has been returned to the store. Better now. Thanks for all the empathy, sympathy and suggestions of chocolate and wine (yes - they really DO help!).

While I'm thanking people, I must send out a few more thanks to wonderful people...
