Yes, things look better with a bit of a press and proper lighting.... see? (I'll have to press and re-shoot this one).Earlier in the week, I'd made the winter kiddie set, using the Kids Beret and the shorter version of the Small Tote (a variation included in the Small Tote pattern) in pinwale corduroy. And I discovered a new page-load craft.... Kanzashi flowers! (Previously, they'd only been TV craft).

Oh now they are darn gorgeous. That blue and red hat is so sweet!
I love your kanzashi flowers. I have tried making them from the instructions in the book 'Kanzashi in Bloom' but somehow mine just don't turn out right.
Adorable!!!!
absoflippinlutely perfect.
You are toooo good.
I've been cutting out stuff to fuse tomorrow, big pile of bits.
I don't have time for any patchwork or fancy pants - so I'm just letting the fabrics speak for themselves.... hopefully they will be fun and polite and not shout rude words....
Brilliant!
Very cutsie wooootzie!
Man you've been busy. Does your sewing machine have some sort of coolant to stop it from overheating????
They're lovely
They are very cute. I've never seen that paper doll fabric before - the red and blue co-ordinating fabric is really nice. I need to add hats to my list of things to do, and Kanzashi embellishments....
Oh so cute!!!
Just found your blog inadvertently through another blog. Oh I love your blog, it's so nice. Love all your creations, you are so clever. The hats are beautiful.
It is all so super cute. Love! ... especially beret.
