The Great Leap Forward

Most of the time I feel like I'm climbing a greasy pole (or walking through treacle)... so many ideas and things to do and not enough time for one busy Mum to do it all. I spend more time doing laundry and setting up "cwaft activities" than patternmaking or sewing. But still, I chip away at it... little by little....

Occasionally I break through to a whole new level, and I almost burst with excitement. YOU can only see purses here, but I see a whole new way forward with internal structure!!!

I can't stop smiling to myself. People will think I've been up to something (other than sewing).

PS. Don't forget about my GIVEAWAY.... there's still time.

Your enthusiasm is mighty infectious! I'm starting to come over all excited about internal purse structures - and I STILL haven't seen your lavender bag!!

My mum uses the 'walking through treacle' metaphor. It's very appropriate for mothers of young children, I think! The breakthrough sounds intriguing :)

I think you are amazing and I take my hat off to you for all that you achieve! I also love how you have so much time for little Rosie especially for her 'cwaft' time!

....And the purses are just gorgeous!

You do a great job of "chipping" away at things. And I think having an acceptance that things just happen a little more slowly than pre-kids is important.

Your new internal structures look great! Slowly, slowly, little by little wins the race!

I love the greasy pole and the treacle analogies.

Your new purses look fantastic. I can't wait to find out your new discovery with internal structure.

As I have said before, it is just the cutest little purse EVER! And I am intrigued by the internal structure epiphany....

Hmmmm busy mother, cwaft activities and treacle don't leave a lot of time for "getting up to something" but the purses look fantastic. Something worth getting excited about. I love them!
