On My Desk.. work table again, really.

All the action was on the trestle tables again, today. Cutting and folding lots of interfacing, wadding, calico, Fast2Fuse etc for the NEW kits!!! Yes, folks... it's about to be unleashed!! Just waiting for some final tweaking instructions from our testers, and we're away!!!

...AND WE'RE DOING ANOTHER GIVE-AWAY!!!
If you'd like to WIN one of these babies HOT OFF THE PRESS, just leave a little comment here and we'll do the draw next week, as soon as the kits go up onto the website. Probably sometime around Wednesday to Friday....

More On My Desk Players can be found over at Kirsty's....

There's no email or blog address to answer Vireya's question, so I thought I'd put it out there to all...

I forgot to mention (oops) that you need to be fairly competent at the ol' sewing machine for this one. Setting in a curved shape and all.... If you've never set in a sleeve (or any other curved shape to a straight one) it's probably best to ask an experienced sewing friend to help... or to make it for you.

I've just started screenprinting on fabric and wanted to turn a couple of prints into something practical. I discovered your website after 'googling' for 'bag patterns' and now I can't decide if I should turn my designs into purses or bags. So even if I don't win a kit, I'll probably buy one(or two) patterns anyway.

I love the teardrop shape. The shape and the closure reminds me very much of a purse my older sister had in the late 60s. Then, my sister could stop at a gas station, snap open her teardrop purse, which was brown leather, fish out a few quarters, nickels and dimes and buy enough gasoline to drive around all day in her Chevy II!
