When I feel like a bit of retail therapy - I mean "need to research something" - I venture to browse my wishlist to see if there may be a used or second-hand copy of something useful at a bargain price. It inevitably leads to an hour or so's browsing, a big dent in my credit card, the purchase of a few new books that I hadn't planned on buying and another six books in my Wishlist..

Hi Nikki,
I absolutely have the same problem, so much so Ive had a ban on my browsing habits. (For the month of June anyway). Thanks for dropping by my blog and welcome to blog land.
ps Love your handbags.
Libby
You know the solution don't you Nikki - get a BIGGER bookcase!
It's an evil evil place. Beware of temptation!
... Oh who am I kidding? I love it too! I just try not to look at it too regularly. Discard it from my memory when possible and fold only occasionally. 13 books on the way! Well done.
Maybe I'll just go and have a quick browse...
I can TOTALLY relate to the AMazon dilemma, it's me to a tee!!! love your blog!! LOVE your bags
Mmm yes. Know all about the Amazon addiction. I have a nice little collection myself!
Hey there! Welcome to Blogland, and thanks for visiting my blog (and I don't think I want to know about your gory 'needle and middle finger' story' **sticks fingers in ears and chants la la la la**). It's so nice to discover a lovely new blog. I'll be back :)
Oh, and ditto on the Amazon thing...I do the same thing...
Good to hear that I'm not alone on this one.
A few years ago I had to ban Amazon from my life - block all emails from them and pretend they didn't exist. And then ONE little email escaped the blocked list filter.....
Evil, evil and and ever-so delightful AMazon...
I know exactly what you mean....craft books are sooooooo addictive and the trouble with online shopping is that it doesn't actually feel like you've spent any money because it's just too easy!
Umm... yes. That's me. Can't resist the old 'you might like this too'. If it wasn't so damn easy to hit the GO button, I probably wouldn't have quite so many books sitting in a 'to read' pile for years upon years.
