These classes are lots of fun. Not only do you get oodles of hands-on help, where you can pick my brains to your little hearts content.... but you have lots of room and a lovely "make yourself at home" atmosphere. We play music, eat snacks and have a huge range of hot or cold drinks.... all very "help yourself, whenever you feel like it.." You'll also be in a super-small group with people with the same level of sewing experience. It's supportive and caring... very warm and fuzzy. I've had great feedback about my classes.... So, if you need a bit of help to get started with sewing beyond the absolute basics, this course is a huge confidence and skills-booster. You can book here. Just make a note on your booking that you saw the discount on my blog.

Aww I wish I could join your class, it sounds like so much fun! And I love the fabric you used for that bag! Mind if I ask where you got it?
That bag was made by someone attending a class. Sorry - no idea where the fabric is from!
It's posts like these that make me OH SO SAD that I don't live in Melbourne.. :( Darn it! I would LOVE to be in an all day workshop with you :D
Hi Nicole,
I've recently discovered your blog & am quickly becoming a fan. I was struck by your post & compelled to comment because a similar thing is happening at the moment with my workshops - they seem to fill at the last minute or just manage to scrape in with enough to make it viable - I'm endlessly juggling people & days like a circus act.
I blame the weather....and even though we're thousands of klms apart, we are in the same country, so you could too.
Some classes book out months in advance and others seem to be overlooked. I'd just like to know, where are all those people who nagged me to start teaching again...?
Oh if only I lived closer I would be there in a second! Sigh...maybe one day...
Maybe you might consider doing some sort of online thing for us gals who a bummed that we live a million miles from you!
Your book arrived on Tuesday and its FABULOUS!
