I was in the sewing cave for a while today, with my old-faithful machine. It felt like home to me. I wondered why I have never ever tired of sewing. I marvelled at trying to guess the (thousands of?) hours I've spent at this machine over the last decade and a half.
I also wondered what possessed me to make something in hot pink satin.
There was also much excitement over preparations for tomorrow night. A dishwasher full of champagne flutes and several boxes of bottles stuffed into fidges throughout the building, name-tags and guest lists...... one sleep to go.

Other creative spaces can be seen over at Kirsty's. Thanks Kirst - you're the mostest!

Sorry I won't be there...have a fabulous time.
Love your old friend. x
Oh, yay, so excited! And still sewing as well, clothes are made, now for a lunch bag to show off! Hmm, pink satin is kinda scary, if anyone can do it, you can. See you then!
So bummed I am going to miss tomorrow! Just don't think I can fit it all in. Sorry I couldn't chat more at Stitches but I didn't want to interupt you too much in sales mode. Have lots of fun

Just what are you making with pink satin??? I'm intrigued.
I know what you mean. I LOVE the fact that I never get tired of sewing.
Your sewing machine looks like an old friend, that's nice. :)
BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE TO PULL OUT AND SET UP OLD FAITHFUL EVERY TIME.
(it's a theory - and one that has me knit knit knitting).
So. You're whipping up a little hot pink affair for Friday night drinkies?
Ah, so much said for your big old faithful permanently set up sewing machines, they hum along. Love Posie
Hmm I'm intrigued about the pink satin too! I'll be there tomorrow night (but a teensy bit late I'm afraid!)
