What will we do next Thursday night...?

The Better Bags course finished last night. After 6 weeks we all kind-of got used to coming to our little sewing group each week. What'll we all do next week?

Here are a few of the bags that were present at the end of last night. Unfortunately, the previously-finished ones were not there for the photo. Thanks to Beccasaurus and five other (blogless) gals for lots of fun Thursday nights - lots of chatting, laughing, sewing and chocolate biscuit consumption.

Places on the rest of the year's courses and workshops are filling up. We're still taking names for waiting lists in case of booking cancellations (or scheduling of more classes - as we're doing now to cater for some of the larger waiting lists).

We still have a few places on the Advanced Purse classes - where you get to make your choice of these purses. (Intermediate sewing skills will get you by in this class, because it's a small group and you'll have lots of guidance from me.... and quite possibly chocolate biscuits).

More details here...

Thanks again, Nikki! Your class was awesome - so glad I did it. Took the new bag to work today and got the desired 'oohs' and 'aahs'. Maybe I'll start a blog documenting the trials and tribulations of my new hobby... keep an eye out!

Ditto
I also had a great 6 weeks Nikki. I promise to work on my new skills and whip up a few more (hopefully not taking another 6 weeks to make one bag...)
Thanks again.

Oh I how I love those purses Nikki with the frames. I think I may have to have a kit....

Too bad the commute would kill me! I would love to bask in your knowledge! Australia is on my "bucket list" (American movie about a dying man who has a list of things he wants to do before he 'kicks the bucket') so maybe someday I'll get close enough to meet you.

Not dying (that I know of) so maybe I have some time to accomplish this.

It really is high time I got more fun time sorted. (you had me anyway, but the chocolate biscuits mention was the clincher).

Ooh, I must get into one of your classes! Please please please run another Sharper Edge Intensive :-) There are lots of us on the waiting list!! You're just too wonderful to have only the one class. You must have hundreds of them, I demand it!! :-) xxx

I want to move to Melbourne ...while Sydney is not as far as the commute from the US, I think I would struggle convincing my family I neeeeded to fly to down one night a week for a bag making course....they just don't understand!
