A few weeks ago, the lovely Lara of Kirin & Co dropped in for a visit. How lovely is she..? She gave me some beautiful samples of her gorgeous new fabrics, and stayed for a cuppa and chat. She's a very talented gal.
I finally had a chance to try a few samples in some little purse frame purses.
Lara and Bianca are doing fab things over in Kensington right now. Both are fabulous textile designers and really REALLY nice people. I'm wishing them all sorts of good things for their new venture.
Thanks to all who've stopped in for my current giveaway. If you're wondering what the inside of a purse kit is like, see here... (Although the current giveaway kit is for a bigger purse, and has more stuff in it).

Thanks for mentioning me too :)
I'd like to add though, that it's not just me and Lara....of course Teegs is part of this too...she's the one with the screen printing knowledge ;)
Love the purses, they look so vibrant in Lara's fabric.
Thanks for posting all the tute's, I'm sure they're gonna come in handy later. I just love how detailed your work is...I can definitely learn from that :)
Oh my gosh, they look so cute!!! You've made the fabrics look a gazillion times better than how they look on their own.
Also makes me think - 'Nikki is so good at this, I reckon i'll leave all the bag making to her'. I think I'm done with trying to come up with patterns myself!!
Thanks for all the very kind words too. I'm going to post about this on my blog, except blogger has 'blocked' me temporarily thinking my blog is spam!!! I can't post! :'(
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE these. They are just gorgeous. I am hoping to get my little mittens on one as my husband is always stealing my change so I can hopefully squirrel some away in these lovelys.
