Most of today was spent with my nose pressed against a computer screen - tweaking patterns, checking measurements, photoshopping pictures for instructions... writing and re-writing instructions.... and then there was a bit of photographic action happening over on one of the work tables. I was moving in tight circles today. Not looking up much. My one child-free day in the week and I wasn't going to waste it.
There's a deadline to finish this pattern and it's instructions. I have a mini-course in making HATS FOR ALL THE FAMILY (2 sessions – At the Brunswick Business Incubator Sun 28th Sept & 5th Oct 2008 - 10.30am - 4pm). There are still a couple of places on the course if you're interested in learning to make hats of many sizes and shapes!!
I promised this pattern was "coming soon" ages ago, but a few purse patterns got in the way of product development. Now there's no excuse, and I intend to start NOTHING NEW until this is DONE.
Watch this space, because I reckon there'll be a bit of a pattern giveaway coming soon....

What wonderful hats! I would love to be able to make hats (especially for my two boys who have unusually large heads! Adult hats look a bit weird when you're 3).
very cute hats! our hat days are almost over and soon will be in warmer clothing but hope to see the patterns soon and make them for next summer!
Love your hats - they look so stylish!! With summer fast approaching this would be a great project - I never seem to be able to find a hat that is just the right colour/shape.
Those hats look great, I wish I was in Melbourne for the course but maybe just a pattern will be able to curb my ineptitude at hat making
Nikki - love the hats
technical question - how do you get them 'floating' in the photo with no background?
