A quick - but full - stop.

A brief pause to look up... Look in...
Appreciate the camping experiences of childhood. (I still love damper on a stick!)

Marvel at nature and the tiniest details of life.


See it through a child's eyes. (The adventure of collecting sap.... who'd a thunk it?).

Enjoy some bush craft (involving the words "warp" and "weft"... I couldn't help myself. Indoctrination at every available opportunity here).


Relish the opportunity to go walking through wet bushland in duck pj's and gumboots.


...or indeed cammo pj's and Italian leather (heeled) boots. (Guess who forgot to pack the Blundstones??)

One night away and a big dose of nature. Lovely.

    I love you wood weaving! I did similar for my litle guy's sand castle a couple summers ago when I wove some reeds for the drawbridge ... the realtives thought I was nuts, but my son loved it!
