My Creative Space

Has a new gadget in it. I bought it (on Ebay) mostly for the case it came in.....

But also because it turns a mechanical sewing machine into one that does automatic buttonholes.

I haven't got time to play with it right now, but I'm a bit in love with the way it looks. I don't even care if it doesn't work.

To take a peek into other creative spaces over at Kirstys...

And - Oh my LORDY.... The selvage giveaway!!! I was expecting one or two people to be interested so am a bit surprised by the overwhelming response. Jodie - What did you start???
I'll do a draw for them sometime next week. I might divide the stash into a couple of bundles.

  8. Ha, ha, love it! I once bought a knitting machine because of the retro color (blue and soft yellow). After I got home I discovered it was a very good choice because the machine was in great condition and ready to use :D

  16. I spent most of my 4-H sewing years on a Singer that used this automatic buttonholer - it makes fantastic buttonholes and perfect every time. Plus it makes a cool noise while it's doing it - reminds me a bit of traveling on the train across country with my parents from Washington State to Minnesota many times when I was a kid...clickety-clack :-)

I LOVE to read your comments and they brighten my day. I can't respond unless your profile has an email address attached, though... And some days I simply don't have time to respond.... but I respond in a telepathic sort of way to each and every comment.
