A nice sensible hat...

...doesn't stay that way for long in these here parts. I can't be trusted with them at all.

Apart from this bit of fun today, it's all been a bit quiet on the sewing front. I'm drowning in to-do lists and dreaming CAD patternmaking lines (the list story might be suffering a bit of hyperbolic embellishment, but sadly I'm not exaggerating about the dreams!!). I also seem to have some sort of weird sleeping sickness - not sure if it's a virus or absolute exhaustion.... or maybe it's just hyperbolic embellishment syndrome?

Anyway - Welcome to my nightmare.....

I must get back to measuring lines to within two decimal places of a millimetre. Talk soon.

PS. Thanks to all the button-linkers!! When I get a mo to do some tweaking I'll make a linky list!

  1. As an autocad draftsman for a living I could feel the pain, especially since I have just finished my 10 hour day staring at the thing.

  2. Love the hat Nikki! Why be sensible when you can have some fun. Try to get a good night's sleep - and see you in the morrow!

  8. Oh Nikki you'd get on with hubs - he too uses CAD (Autocad to be exact) he is a draftsman. He has offered to draw up some of my patterns too. Gee I'm lucky...

  9. Who needs sensible? I LOVE the new hat! What will life be without colour and fun? I have to make lists all the time to keep focused because I tend to digress, like with sewing - I make a list of projects and when I sit down in my sewing room I soon find myself wanting to do something completely different! I have learnt that it is better to "go with the flow" and do what you want to do, but sometimes we can't. Bummer! Good luck with your pattern making. I cannot wait to see what you launch next!

I LOVE to read your comments and they brighten my day. I can't respond unless your profile has an email address attached, though... And some days I simply don't have time to respond.... but I respond in a telepathic sort of way to each and every comment.
