Trying to put the "HOW TO DO" (rather than "WHAT TO DO") into plain English. Plain and succinct English. (Tough gig for a chatterbox like me).
Hoping I'll get this new bag pattern finished soon.
(I'm also wondering what a thief would think, if ever they stole my camera..... ?)
..
..
Head on over to the hostess with the mostest to see what everyone else is up to this week.
I wonder the same thing about my camera.
ReplyDeleteI love that you love a chat & surely that's what makes you so good. The leaving nothing to chance bit. x
Ha I have never thought about that....
ReplyDeleteLove those bright colors!
memang sangat kreatif...

Well someone stole my bathers from my washing line, so a few sewing pictures on a camera - pfaff! I would steal THE BAG!
ReplyDeletei wish my bag handles looked like yours - so neat and perfect! look forward to seeing the finished product :)
ReplyDeleteIf a thief stole your camera they may very well be inspired to steal themself a sewing machine... then abandon their thieving ways in preference for sewing! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou could very well be doing some community service.
That print on your fabric there is so lovely - tis to be a 'summery cas' flung over the shoulder with all of the necessary's' type of bag for sure. Peta
ReplyDeleteThat looks good so far with the step by step pics, such good snipping around that bend- one of those things I didn't learn for a while with softie making and when I did it all made sense.
ReplyDeleteYears ago someone stole my camera with film on it- it was a film full of vaginal births! As a student I had a follow through client who wnated me to snap pics- hope they got it developed and got a shock! Serves them right, they stole my cd colletction too, still get teary when I hear Electric Dreams- better stop babbling
ReplyDeleteI think they would just admire your fabric choices, wouldn't they!! Would they find fabric and bags odd do you think???
ReplyDeleteWhat I wonder is, do you make everything with the new Bernina now?!
ReplyDeleteOh I definately worry what a thief would think if they got my camera. We were at a wedding recently and people were asking to see photos of my kids... None on the camera.. plenty of the dog, various stages of jewellery making, half finished projects galore but no people. Ooops
ReplyDeletelooks great and bright so far =) I m sure this will be lovely project.
ReplyDeleteI get where you are coming from, but "succint" and "instructions" aren't always the best combination.
ReplyDeletePicture the face of the beginner dressmaker who reads...
Step 5. Attach sleeves.
Yes, that's helpful.
So something between that and a 5 page novel... now wasn't that useful advice!?
Cheers,
AJ
Personally I like wordy and lengthy instructions, much more helpful I find!
ReplyDeleteYour sewing is so neat. I am having a really difficult time with my bag making this week. My sewing machine seems to be having issues going through certain thickensses. My stitches don't seem neat. Any tips?
