Nikki, these are pretty special photos to have. In each of these photos she's looking (at you?) and smiling. They are lovely, and she is beautiful- and is that a grandmother knitting in the background I spy? Crafty genes?! love your way and a gentle hug
Great snaps & yes, how to remember her!! My mother was born to be a mum of many too, it's so sad to lose her slowly, it's agony to watch. The grandchildren really notice now too, but are polite enough to not say anything. Just holding onto happy memories & snaps. Sending hugs, love Posie
what wonderful photos. How lucky you are to have such little snapshots of your mother's love. And the photo where there is a little knitting going on is fantastic!
Nikki, the photos are beautiful, your mother and her sister both look so happy with you and your cousin. Beautiful joy, wonder and happiness. These memories (and our families) are so so precious. Thinking of you. xxx
Really wonderful photos. My Baby Girl is 2 months younger than my nephew and we have so many fun pictures of them together. My former mother-in-law (Baby Girl's grandmother) baby sat for our families when our kids were little and she passed away this last December. Her kids and her grandkids were her life.
I love the old snaps. My kids had to do a family roots project in year 7. The time spent going through old shots with grandparents was especially precious. Since then we have lost 2 of them. Family is the best and its important to look backwards every once in a while and think about where we came from.
Love to you. Thoughts. I have a photo of my mum, from before I was even considered or born, above my desk. It's only teeny tiny - but I love looking at it. And seeing her at that time of her life (before I knew her). And how beautiful she was. And remembering how beautiful she always was. Take care. Happy memories. E xxxx
Very beautiful. Stunning. I marvel too at the beauty of my mother, and all that she's experienced in her lifetime. Every life is powerful and meaningful.
I LOVE to read your comments and they brighten my day. I can't respond unless your profile has an email address attached, though... And some days I simply don't have time to respond.... but I respond in a telepathic sort of way to each and every comment. xxx Nikki
She was beautiful. I love the intimacy of these photographs.

Your mum was beautiful Nikki, and the photographs are gorgeous, they are so natural, brought a tear to my eye. x
