Welcome to Sunny Melbourne!

We've had a visitor these last few days - all the way from Antarctica.

An icy blast to make us forget any thoughts we may have had of Spring and sunshine. A damn good excuse to wrap up in layers and layers of wool and wear my "Tara" brooch (by the super-talented
Sam Beardon from Galway, Ireland).

The wee girl had an unexpected day out with an auntie today. I sat in front of the computer, drank tea (while it was hot) and felt cosy. A day's work was done and I didn't notice the weather.

And I've nothing to show you for it.

  1. Blimey - lucky YOU. Did you say 'tea while it was still hot'?

  2. Nothing to show? How about that relaxed mind!

  3. What a lovely brooch! I love hot, summer days, but sometimes its nice to cool off a bit. We had our first summer thunder storm yesterday afternoon and it is chilly and overcast today. Of course, I came to work with my new lightweight summery skirt in bright yellow with sandals. Duh! Freezing my butt off today, all in the name of vanity!

I LOVE to read your comments and they brighten my day. I can't respond unless your profile has an email address attached, though... And some days I simply don't have time to respond.... but I respond in a telepathic sort of way to each and every comment.
