I'm thinking of sending her a bill for another lovely pack of fabric from Above All Fabric.
...including these SUPER CUTE Robert Kauffman kid's prints. I'm not sure if I'll ever make anough bibs to work through the stash I have already, but I couldn't resist.
A big box from Quilt Home...
...including this gorgeous range - BasicGrey / Urban couture by Moda.
I'm so sorry I didn't get a dress length of this print (below) because it's now GONE from the shop. Such a shame - it would have looked lovely in my "one day to be made into a dress" stash.....
I can't thank/blame Lara for this lot, below. I think I could possibly blame Felicity for forcing me to bookmark the page months ago (when she mentioned it casually in a blog post and it looked a bit exciting). I couldn't POSSIBLY accept responsibility....
These are Hip Fabric delights... I'm particularly in love with this peacock one -
from PROUD by Keri Beyer for In The Beginning Fabrics.
And yesterday I popped in to GJ's to drop off some patterns and saw this. $5 per metre and perfect for little summer dresses for my girl. I'm making plans to go back to GJ's for a big knit-fabric-fest when I have more time to dig through the treasure trove in the remnant warehouse out the back.
I do believe there's a parcel (or ... ummmmm...two?) of fabric yet to arrive.... Can I still blame Lara or do I have to admit to a bit of an uncontrolled binge?
My name is Nikki and I'm a fabriholic.
Hi Nikki. Welcome to the innernets where you will be enabled at every point ;-)
ReplyDeleteI see some beautiful fabric there. I'm a fabriholic too. Is it the spring air? Suddenly I feel the urge to just stash, stash, stash. Oh, and you've provided links too. How ummm, thoughtful....
ReplyDeleteGREAT additions to you stash! Maybe mine needs a few more yards too...
ReplyDeleteIt's just too tempting ... but I daren't buy any more. I had a fabric binge last week and don't think my hubby will take any more until I've used up some of the last lot!!
ReplyDeleteha ha ha ha ha (evil cackle) I am living vicariously through your fabric purchases at the moment Nikki (my shelves are FULL) - and you have made such lovely purchases! But you HAVE to buy fabric - all legitimate business expenses, of course!
ReplyDeleteI am a fabricholic too, I confess. Love the fabric for your little one. too cute. Now I only have you to blame for alerting me to all these fabulous fabric places.
ReplyDeleteYour diet is gone ... gone.. but in such a nice way. Ummm I have packages to arrive too
ReplyDeleteThanks for making me feel not so bad about my own addiction. However, at least you make something from your stash. I seem to just look at mine!
ReplyDeleteHa Ha, I think I made exactly the same comment to my friend during the week "my name is Tanya and I am addicted to fabric"...!!
ReplyDeleteI say keep blaming Lara, she is an evil woman leading you astray !
ReplyDeleteI wish I lived in Melbourne so that I can check out GJ's as well. I noticed your previous purchase from there and they were beautiful! Am making a note now to visit the shop next time we go to Melbourne. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteIf you share the love you can't get the guilts - think of it as a public service announcement!
ReplyDeleteSheesh, tell us something we don't know. But as we are all fellow 'holics' with no intention of changing, don't expect slaps on the wrist from us!!
ReplyDeleteOh boy, you broke the diet BIG TIME! But I bet it was fun . . . I enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteI am green with envy! I have been on a forced craft supply diet the last month because of school fees. Urgh! One week to go till payday. Yeah! I have a growing list of things I NEED. It has been quite good to make use of what I have though...amazing what you find in your existing stash when you look....
