My new toy...

It can do a tri-fold in about 2 seconds and a single-fold pattern cover in about a second. I'm in love. Seriously.

From this day on, life will be easier. (Can you believe we've been doing this BY HAND for so long...????)

And yes - this gadget-girl has been sewing ....but there's a small problem with a lost battery charger for my camera (therefore no evidence of any craftiness).

(Note to self: Steal man-of-the-house's camera and get back to normal programming as soon as possible).

    I understand your excitement! I delivered pamphlets when I was in high school and the sock over fist technique was what was used to fold them.

    WOW what is the name of that? i need to get one! My husband is always having me fold those brochure for his printing biz. It's a total pain in the butt!

    As an active member of Stationery-o-holics Anonymous I have to agree that this is the best gadget I have seen in ages. Now what possible justification could I come up with for needing one? The term 3 kindergarten invoices perhaps?

    What a great new toy, I hope it makes a lovely productive whirry, or clicky noise, just to remind you that the new toy is doing that tedious task while you do something way more fun.

    Tiff - it's simply called a PAPER FOLDING MACHINE. You can google it and find out lots about them.... fascinating reading!

    When I first saw the photo I thought it was a spirit stenciller machine - like we had when I was little at school - and I'm thinking .... wot?? But now I know what it is .... fabulous - will it fold fabric?

    I can so relate. One of my past employers used to have us fold by hand ... and then we got a folding machine. It was BLISS.

    About 2 nights before stitches and Craft, I would have sold both my kids for one of these- folding takes waaaay longer than you think.
    Enjoy every single minute of that time Nikki as it whirs and clicks in the background.
