Biggest Afternoon Tea

The lovely Cathie hosted a "Biggest Morning Tea" at my studio today, to raise funds for the Cancer Council. She did it with loads of style and deliciousness....
Gorgeous gifts were raffled...Craft books were riffled... (GOTCHA, Bec!!)

And the finer points of patchwork skirts were discussed. (You can spot a group of craft bloggers anywhere!!)

Cathie did an AMAZING job to coordinate and cater for the event. Lots of wonderful people chipped in with prizes and donations, 30-plus women came along to enjoy the afternoon and nearly $900 was raised. Great day!

  14. Nikki,
this looks wonderful - so glad you had a lovely morning and could raise money for such a good cause.
I've been meaning to come and visit you for ages, but I even had to cancel my participation in one of your classes due to silly health problems. Hoping to be back on my feet again soon so I can catch you come time :-)

I LOVE to read your comments and they brighten my day. I can't respond unless your profile has an email address attached, though... And some days I simply don't have time to respond.... but I respond in a telepathic sort of way to each and every comment.
