Got the pool in at last

Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa - Swimming Pool

Ok... so it wasn't that particular pool....

It actually looks more like this -

The wee girl and her Daddy built a cubby-house out of her old cot (I say nothing about it being a perfectly good cot that may have been useful to another family.... encourage creativity, encourage creativity....).

The wee one was in charge of interior design and art. That's a portrait of "Daddy with the Very Hungry Caterpillar" and one of "B.Barry" (her toy frog that disappeared some time ago but has by no means been forgotten).

And now it has an indoor pool. Luxury, I tell ya! The main house is surely (and sorely) lacking in that department.

Note to self: Buy winning lottery ticket or move to the antarctic craft colony by next summer.....

We have two cots here (I could evict the youngest). What with the trampoline, and the shade sail we could be on to a family-size (providing we sit in compact fashion) swimming play centre.

I thought that was a fantastic use of an old cot - looked like a lovely splash! Hot here today too.

Gotta love a clamshell pool. The cubby house looks great too - will help keep the sun off at least. It was certainly the day for it. I think there are a few more to come yet....

You could move to my part of the world if you're looking for cooler temps. :o)

hee hee... love the creativity that goes on in your house. Looks like your wee girl will be keeping cool in enviable style.

You'll have to get the Dad to put in a swim up bar from where the wee girl can obtain her summer fruits smoothies and other poolside snackage...... (and perhaps the odd mojito or such for any grown ups who pop in....)

Pool #2 is much more fun than pool #1. Been there done that!
I have pictures but since no one is clothed, I can't post them!

We dismantled the second hand(way more than second hand) cot and used the sides as safety gates on the deck.
the cubby house looks great!
