Christmas Stocking

My little assistant and I worked overtime at the studio the other night to make this stocking (conveniently sized to hold a particular present from Santa). My larger - and even more reluctant - assistant is holding it up here - so you can see the scale.I used plastic d-rings on the top edge so Santa can clip on a webbing strap with snap hooks when the stocking is full and needs a bit of improved hanging ability.

The planned "cute photo for Granny's xmas card" session was as (un)successful as the xmas tree one.

Many thanks for everyone's input into the Carry-All cover. It's great to hear your responses to the different styles. Not sure if I'm any clearer on the final choice...?

Oh, and please know that whatever doesn't go on the front of the cover will go on the back. We just need one to catch people's eye long enough to make them want to turn the packet over to see the variations. Mosaic pictures don't have as much visual impact as a single one with clout.

She's a funny one, maybe you could pop her in the bag for her nap and get the photo while she's asleep!!!

oh that's such a great idea...
did you set you camera to "sports action"
i think you would need a very fast shutter speed for this little "pressie"

What a fun stocking, and so much fun to play in, oh if only I were that small again!
