Sisters Market in Brunswick

What a fantastic little market the Sister's Market is!! The wee gal and I met a couple of my oldest and dearests there. We had great coffee (and babycino), ate fresh pretzels, met lovely people, caught up with old friends, took some photos... Caught up with Justine and Nichola from MixTape...
My friends bought some fabulous things... And I dealt with a LOT of this situation....
All in all, a highly recommended day out (if you leave the two-year-olds at home!!).

I wanted to go but I got caught up doing family things and I missed it! I'll have to check the website for the next one.

The temptation is too great isn't it! I told my kids to put their hands on their heads if they saw something they really really wanted to touch at an exhibition once. From then on they took it on board and spent a lot of time in markets galleries and shops with their hands on their heads. (I'm a bad mother- it sounds cruel now, but it still makes me laugh seeing them do this in my minds eye- they are now pretty much grown and are no longer required to do this!)Actually it was kind of good because when they did it I knew they were keen and I'd look at it carefully with them or help them hold it if is was possible.

I think that they should run a child care on the week-ends for the 3-6 year olds so that you can go out and carry on more than a 1 word converstion. I think it should be run by a frazzeled woman with wild hair, so you know they still feel at home.
